What is your club about anyway?

We’re tired of meeting blank stares when we talk about anything other than what’s currently on TV/the radio/in theaters. Our goal is to decrease cultural ignorance and make the last 100 years interesting and fun.
I don’t get the points system.
Each member gets points for being active - namely, going to meetings, playing games with us, helping out in schoolwide activities, etc. Deluxe members start the year with 5 more points than everyone else.
Showing up: 1 point
Participating in an activity: 2 points
Winning a game: 3 points
Helping with community nights/festivals: 5 points/hr
Dressing up: 3 points
What’s deluxe membership?
Deluxe membership gives you full access to all the resources NHC has to offer. While regular members can participate in every activity during the year, benefits of deluxe membership include:
- discounts on trips and shows
- opportunity to purchase a cord/stole
- scholarship and award opportunities
- start out the year with 10 points
In order to pay our NHC chapter dues, we ask that deluxe members pay annual dues of $2.
